Fraza do cytowania: Woderska N The role of the family in decisions about organ donation for transplantation. Piel Pol. 2013;1(47):7–11. Introduction. The Cell, Tissue and Organ Recovery, Storage
and Transplantation act of July 1st, 2005 regulates the legal
aspects of organ donation and transplantation, however ethical

knowledge of the potential donor’s attitude towards organ
donation. The educational program was developed to promote
the idea of conscious ex mortuo donation. “Transplantacja
jestem na TAK. Podziel się swoją decyzją” (“I say YES to

carried out in selected schools since 2008.
Aim. The aim of the program was to encourage participants to
discuss their attitude towards organ donation. In this research,
the effect of this program was investigated. A questionnaire
survey was administered to program participants.
Material and methods. Data was collected from students of
technical schools who participated in the program (N = 69),
from those who did not participate (N = 62).
Results. The results indicate that the aims of the programs
were achieved.
